Bluesky's 2025 $100M Series B Funding

Last week Bluesky announced they had raised $100M in April 2025.

Many people were confused by the timing of the announcement, almost a year after the funding round closed, and the recent changes at the top of the company. Delays in announcements are not unusual, although 11 months is probably a little longer than normal, and was attributed to the team being busy building.

The round was led by Bain Capital Crypto, with participation from Alumni Ventures, Anthos Capital, Bloomberg Beta, Knight Foundation and True Ventures.
